Our Vision

That at-risk children and their caregivers fulfill their potential as productive, caring and resilient members of the community.

Our Mission

To empower children (from birth to 5 years old) and the childcare community to thrive socially and emotionally through early intervention and quality preventive mental health services, and to educate those professionals who are serving this community.

We are literally, all about the CHILDREN

All ‘Bout Children , Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency that provides on-site early intervention and quality preventive mental health services for young children, their parents and teachers, and educates professionals who are serving this community. These services allow children and caregivers reach their full potential.   We also provide the training for teachers and professional to work effectively with young children.

We do this in several ways:

• Training for childcare center staff
• One-on-one therapy for children and families
• Parenting/caregiver workshops
• Continuing education seminars for healthcare professionals
• On-site early intervention
• Hands-on training for interns, volunteers and professionals

An urgent need for this approach

If behavior problems are not addressed in the early formative years, they are likely to develop into serious dysfunctional disorders as an adult. In his book, “Born for Love,” child expert Dr. Bruce D. Perry put it this way:

“If 20 million people were infected by a virus that caused anxiety, impulsivity, aggression, sleep problems, depression, respiratory and heart problems, vulnerability to substance abuse, antisocial and criminal behavior, retardation and school failure, we would consider it an urgent public health crisis. Yet, in the United States alone, there are more than 20 million abused, neglected and traumatized children vulnerable to these problems. Our society has yet to recognize this epidemic, let alone develop an immunization strategy.”
