Senior Therapist - Kristina Cooke, L.C.S.W., RPT
Kristina Cooke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist. She received her master’s degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University and her bachelor degree in social anthropology from University of Copenhagen, Denmark, her native country. Kristina is skilled in a variety of clinical interventions, including child-directed play therapy, filial therapy, and parent-child psychotherapy. She is also working on her credentials as an Infant Mental Health Specialist, through the Center for Prevention and Early Intervention Policy at Florida State University.
As part of the CCSEW program, Kristina provides developmentally appropriate treatment interventions to young at-risk children and their families, as well as supportive services to the childcare workers in the classroom and through professional development trainings. Additionally, Kristina facilitates parenting workshops for parents of children ages birth to twelve.
Kristina also works with children birth to twelve and their parents the Child and Family Center. Recognizing that many parents have to work full-time, Kristina has Saturday appointments available upon request.
