Needy Infants Benefit from the Generosity of the Employees & Families of Situs of Boca
Christmas is a joyous time of year, but for many poor families, it is a time of financial anguish - how to feed their families and provide for their basic needs. Infant room teachers have reported to All 'Bout Children staff that many families struggle to afford diapers and baby food which must be brought to the childcare center weekly. Last week the work and generosity of the employees and families at Situs of Boca Raton (Charles Parker, Patrick D’Sa and Shannan Blonder, and Harvey & Marie Blonder) help to alleviate some of this problem.. This group raised money to purchase baby food and diapers for many needy families with infants in childcare in the West Palm Beach area. Shannon Blonder of Situs dropped off several cases of diapers and baby food to Roxanne Grobbel, Clinical Director of All ‘Bout Children to distribute to families who are struggling to care for their infant children. Infant rooms at needy centers received supplies for food and diapers to use for families who are struggling to provide these necessities.

All ‘Bout Children, Center Staff and the children and families want to thank this wonderful group for their generous donation.
Families struggle throughout the year to provide the basic needs for their families. If you are interested in helping these families, please contact All 'Bout Children. We will ensure that your donation goes to directly help a needy family.
St. Mark's Quilters Provide Warmth and Comfort to Needy Children
Nine childcare centers at which ABC provides or has provided its Childcare Community Social and Emotional Wellness program have benefited from the generosity of "St. Mark's Quilters" from St. Mark's Episcopal Church in P.B. Gardens. This dedicated group makes quilts, flannel blankets and Beanie Baby Bags, so that the children have something to snuggle with at naptime or in the quiet areas of the classroom. Many children in these childcare centers don’t have a blanket to cover with at naptime (parents and centers often can’t afford them), these quilts and flannel blankets make naptime a warmer more comfortable time!
St. Mark's Outreach Ministry has raised money to buy school clothes, shoes and socks for several families who are struggling in these difficult times.
All ‘Bout Children, Center Staff and the children and families are thankful for the work of this amazingly talented group of ladies.
Thanksgiving at My First Steps
Thanksgiving was a special holiday at My First Steps Westgate, due to the work and generosity of The Sagemont School’s Hispanic Honor Society, Amberwood Preschool Academy’s parents and staff and the Friends of Weston Foundation. The Friends of Weston members coordinated this event and were on hand to give a pumpkin pie to each child and teacher for them to enjoy with their holiday dinner. The parents and staff of the Amberwood Preschool Academy provided the pies. The Children of the Sagemont School’s Hispanic Honor Society made and donated gift bags that included boxed cereal, a tee shirt, a coloring book, and crayons for each child also. Everyone from My First Steps childcare center started the Thanksgiving holiday a little more thankful!
